Praise Almighty God!

Hooray!!! I have received an early Birthday present...Bruce just found out that as of April 1st his time as the Web Marketing Coordinator for CSU has been moved from a 12% to a 50% position! This is awesome! Please allow me to brag a bit on my husband :-) In the short time that Bruce has been in this role, he has impressed his Supervisors and Peers that:
1. He has a grasp on what is currently in place regarding web-related Alumni Donor relations;
2. What the current limitations and opportunities are with respect to the CSU technology;
3. And the positive impact his insightful and well thought out plan will have toward Donor giving at the University.

Bruce is a very, very smart man and we couldn't be prouder of him!!

So, what does all of this mean? Bruce will be working 100% for CSU as of April 1st!! The Institute for the Built Environment completed Bruce's employee paperwork as Director of Outreach Programing the first week of March. His 50% position here also provides our family with benefits, including health insurance.
With all the praise I have shared, I do have a prayer request. Please pray for Bruce's health and the ability to set healthy boundaries on his work. Some of Bruce's greatest qualities are his strong work ethic, professionalism and his desire to do the best work he can. In other words, Bruce isn't someone who "watches the clock" while working. With two 50% jobs, both of which we are greatly appreciative for, we know that Bruce will be working more like 120% +.
God is so very good and we feel so hugely blessed that in these times when people are losing their jobs in record numbers, Bruce has been given two valuable, well meaning and fulfilling jobs that will provide for all the needs of our family. Praise Almighty God!!
