Snow Days!

The boys are sharing with you how happy they are that their schools are closed again today after our snow storm yesterday. The schools are closed due to "severe weather and road conditions." Help me with this...it is 8:45 a.m. and the sun is shining!! Go figure :-).

Yesterday, it snowed all day with winds at 40 mph which made it more like a blizzard. I took Nathan to school, but knew he wouldn't be there for long. I worked out (for my sanity :-), went to the grocery store and then went to pick up both Nathan and Luke at their schools before Noon. Schools were technically open till 12:30 p.m, but most parents were not waiting that long. The drive between Harmony School and Zach Elementary usually takes me less than 10 minutes, but yesterday it took me nearly 30 minutes. It was really scary! But we all made it home safely. P.S. Dad, Lindey and Bella, we are so grateful that you are driving out next week and didn't have to deal with this storm :-). Can't wait to see you! XOXO
