The First of Many

Luke is sitting at the kitchen table bright and early this morning typing his final copy of the research report on the British Redcoats and the Colonial Minutemen. Yes, his first research paper...YIKES! We are very proud of him as he has done a great job! Luke had to read several different accounts of the American Revolution and what part the Redcoats and Minutemen had in this war. Know what's funny...I had absolutely NO idea who the Minutemen were...nothing like being one-up'd by your 1st grade Son. I am also very certain, and totally comfortable, with the fact that this will not be the last time this ol' Mom gets outdone :-). Well, we'll see how comfortable...I'll keep you all posted. I'll probably be practicing my mantra: Patience, Patience, PATIENCE for goodness gracious sakes! Ha! Ha!
